Solomon's Pride
This is Bheki's first one man performance and has been greeted by great critical and public acclaim both in South Africa and overseas.Solomon is a Zulu man who has had to spend much of his life waiting... waiting. His story gives a gentle, human insight into the trials and tribulations, the joys and pleasures of a life lived with dignity. The art of story telling has been honed to suit a theatre setting. The audience will be delighted by Zulu folklore and custom, be horrified by the inhumanities of migrant mine labour and revel in the power of this great story teller. SOLOMON'S PRIDE was written by Bheki Mkhwane in conjunction with the multi-award winning Greig Coetzee.
